A named reviewer on every engagement
The engagement letter names the senior reviewer. That person signs the findings and answers for them directly in the verbal briefing.

Lawyers, accountants, investors and boards regularly face decisions that turn on a technical question. They need someone who can establish the facts, quantify the material risk and set out the next practical action, without a stake in the systems being reviewed.
Most technology firms are paid to build, sell or run software. Cayley is paid to answer a question about it. That difference in incentive is the reason the firm exists, and it is why our conclusions are written to hold up in front of a client, a counterparty or a court.
Engagements are carried out by senior practitioners, and the person who scopes a matter stays on it through to the findings. Over the past 15 years the team has built, operated and assessed software systems for clients across Europe, the United States and Australia, from early-stage companies to large organisations.
That history shapes the work. Having built and run production platforms ourselves, we know where the records live, what normal engineering practice looks like and which explanations do not hold up against the evidence.
The firm does not trade on a single name. It stands behind every engagement as a team, and it does so in ways a client can check.
The engagement letter names the senior reviewer. That person signs the findings and answers for them directly in the verbal briefing.
Each finding records the evidence it rests on and a confidence level of Confirmed, Supported, Indicative or Unknown. Where evidence was missing, the gap is stated.
Software may assist research, transcription and comparison. It does not decide. A person weighs the evidence and accepts responsibility for the conclusion.
Each engagement has a defined question and a stated boundary, fixed in writing. The output answers the question it was scoped to answer.
Where a matter needs statutory audit, legal or valuation work, we say so and stay within our scope.
The five-step method behind every engagement: question, evidence, testing, confidence and next action.
The rules that keep the work independent, including conflict checks, reliance and no self-remediation.
Outline a decision, transaction or dispute and we will review the scope before we contact you.
